Dr. Josephson was born in the Bronx, NY, and grew up in Orange, CT. He attended Colgate University, where he received his B.A., majoring in chemistry. Dr. Josephson went on to study dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he received his DMD degree.
Professional Experience and Expertise
Dr. Josephson did a year of residency at the Yale-New Haven Medical Center in New Haven, CT. After his residency, he joined Mount Sinai Medical Center as an assistant attending physician. His hospital responsibilities include treating patients as well as teaching residents. Caring for hospital-based patients for many years has given Dr. Josephson the experience of treating very serious dental problems in patients with poor health. This has proven to be a very important part of Dr. Josephson's training.
- Private practice is where Dr. Josephson spends most of his time, although he maintains his Assistant Attending Physician position with Mount Sinai Medical Center.
